NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder

I bought this product yesterday because I’ve heard some really great things about it. I tend to get oily in my T-zone about half way through my day so I do need something mattifying. I was using MAC’s blot powder but I didn’t like the way my face looked cakey…yuk! Today was my first day using NARS and so far I really like it. It didn’t look cakey after applying it this morning and it still seems to be doing a great job of locking in my foundation. Let me just list some of my personal pros and cons of this product.

Pros:
~ I love the way it goes on  sheer, yet it has excellent staying power.

~ It Mattifies my makeup without looking cakey, it gives an airbrushed look.

~It seems to soften and smooth the texture of my skin, it feels so weightless and if you run your hand across the surface of your skin you can hardly tell its there, yet you feel complete smoothness.

~The packaging is really pretty and it came with a little case including a makeup sponge for touching up.

Cons:
~It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it.

~It’s really “pressed” in there. I found myself really working my brush in order to loosen it up a bit.

If you’re in Sephora, definitely try this product out.
