13 years ago today, Kahele and I had our first date and from that night we’ve stuck together and loved each other through highs and lows.  It seems like a lifetime ago, we are such different people than we were back then.  We were young, both still in school and still in the “hanging with friends” scene.  Now we are pretty much homebodies that would rather stay at home and watch movies with the kids rather than going out on a date together.  On Saturday we celebrated by going to a fancy dinner at Stage Restaurant. This place is gorgeous.  It’s located in the Honolulu Design Center, so as expected the decor was very chic and I loved the lighting. It was a little weird while getting ready knowing that we’d be leaving the kids behind (we do everything with our kids in tow).  But it was so much fun, we loved it.  It was so nice to have time alone together, we are still crazy about each other and still enjoy each others company and conversation.  Hopefully we can make time to do these little dates alone more often.
