Can you think of a better way to get kids to eat their fruits? I love these!
Happy Happy Friday everyone! I’m super excited for the weekend. Working 5 days straight can be exhausting, you know? Yesterday evening I found myself cleaning the office like it was my home, well I am here more than I’m at home so yeah, come to think it makes perfect sense. I’m currently writing this post when I should be working (shhhhh, don’t tell). But you know what they say…
It’s kind of a bummer that I’m at work because my entire family is off of school and work today for “Good Friday”. Booooo!!!!! I want to be home with them soooo badly. But, it is what it is. I mean what am I gonna do rub my eyes til they’re red, dry heave in the trash can next to me and totally make pretend I absolutely can’t get through this work day because I’m just too sick to function? *wink wink* I’m just kidding… maybe.
I can’t believe Sunday is Easter!!!! I love Easter. I remember growing up and having Easter Sunday at my Papa’s house with the entire family. We’d play cute little games where we’d have to team up and get on all fours and use our noses to roll a raw egg about 10 feet to our partner. Or another one I love was the egg toss, where you toss and egg, like a water balloon, to your partner and the team that is left standing without cracking their egg wins. And let’s not forget the Easter egg hunt! After we found all of the eggs we would gather around while clues were read out to us on where the “Golden Egg” was. It usually contained a $20 bill. Now we’re all grown up and get to watch our kids making the same memories with their cousins. Being around family is the best thing in the world to me. Especially my crazy family, we share so many laughs. I think that our time together laughing actually cures all of the things that the stress in our lives do to our bodies. I always feel so ALIVE and REJUVINATED after a day with them.
Well, I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend and a very HAPPY EASTER!
